Project Background

The client contacted us to prepare her garden for planting next year, aiming to establish a healthy and well-maintained foundation for new growth in the coming spring. Her existing garden beds had become overgrown with weeds, and invasive plants threatened to crowd out future plantings. She wanted a thorough cleanup and proactive weed control to ensure the garden was ready for the next planting season.

• AESTHETIC TRANSFORMATION: The client envisioned clean, tidy garden beds with premium mulch to refresh the space. She also wanted a polished look with neat edges and defined borders.

CUSTOM GARDEN MAINTENANCE PLAN:
We developed a targeted approach to clean up the garden beds and improve the overall health of the landscape. Our team removed all weeds and debris from the front and back beds, preparing them for future plantings.

PREMIUM MULCH AND HERBICIDE APPLICATON:
After clearing the beds, we applied 2 inches of high-quality mulch to retain moisture and enhance the garden's appearance. To prevent weed regrowth, we treated the area with a selective herbicide, focusing on long-term weed control without harming desired plant life.

CULTIVATION AND FOUNDATION BUILDING:
We cultivated the soil in the garden beds to promote healthy root development for next season’s plants. This step ensures that the garden has a fertile foundation, improving both soil structure and nutrient retention.

ADDITIONAL OBSERVATIONS AND MAINTENANCE:
While on site, we noticed several areas needing attention:

• Trimmed the tree and removed suckers at its base to encourage healthier growth.
• Defined the edges along pathways and the driveway, preventing further grass overgrowth.
• Removed Bermuda grass that had spread onto walkways and cleaned the perimeter stones and bricks.
